
Peter Kreutz studied piano and voice at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where he graduated with honors. He has won numerous prizes in international competitions, including 1st prize in the vocal duo competition of the Federation of German Industries (BDI). He has performed frequently at international festivals such as the “Kissinger Sommer” and the “Gustav Mahler Weeks” in Toblach, Italy. Many of his recitals have been recorded for radio and television. Peter Kreutz has released CDs featuring Lieder by Johannes Brahms, 19th and 20th-century songs, as well as works by Antonín Dvořák and Carl Reinecke. He teaches Lied interpretation at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold. In 2015, he was awarded the Music Prize of the Sparkassenstiftung Gütersloh.
