
Born in Udine, Lucio Degani graduated from the Cherubini Conservatory in Florence with the highest honors. He enjoys an international career that has taken him to the world’s most prestigious venues: Lincoln Center (New York), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Musikverein (Vienna), Mozarteum (Salzburg), La Scala (Milan), and many others. He has collaborated with renowned conductors and soloists such as Salvatore Accardo, Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Muti, and Itzhak Perlman. He is regarded as a violinist of great charisma and remarkable expressivity.
