The ‘Ferruccio Busoni’ Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble founded in 1965 by Aldo Belli. Recognized as an organization of regional interest, the orchestra was the subject of a publication by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on its 50th anniversary entitled “Today as it was half a century ago,” dedicated to the international promotion of the region’s image. The ensemble is composed of renowned instrumentalists, winners of international competitions, and heirs to the musical tradition of the Trio di Trieste and the Quartetto Italiano, of whom they were students. Throughout its history, the orchestra has collaborated with prestigious soloists and performed in numerous countries. It has produced more than 30 recordings for labels such as Warner Classics, Brilliant Classics, Dynamic, and VelutLuna.
