The Algiers Opera presents: “The Entry in Nuba – Strings of Loyalty in the Presence of the Masters”
As part of its continuous dedication to promoting refined arts and preserving authentic musical heritage, the Algiers Opera “Boualem Bessaïh” welcomes its annual signature event, “The Entry in Nuba”, now an essential artistic rendezvous eagerly awaited by lovers of Andalusian music and by the artist Leïla Borsali herself.
Under the theme “Strings of Loyalty in the Presence of the Masters”, this event pays tribute to those who have etched the soul of Andalusian music into memory, turning this art into a timeless school of authenticity and beauty.
The concert will be performed by Leïla Borsali, whose warm voice and genuine interpretation will illuminate an evening dedicated to two icons of this noble art: Cheikh Salah Boukli Hassan and Cheikh Mohamed Khaznadji, in gratitude for their lifelong contribution to the preservation and transmission of Andalusian music.
Our rendezvous is set for Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at the Algiers Opera “Boualem Bessaïh”, for an exceptional evening where melodies will weave the threads of memory, and each Nuba will tell a story of loyalty and pride in Algeria’s musical identity.
