Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, and in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Algiers and the Arena di Verona Foundation, the Opera of Algiers is honored to present an exceptional concert by the distinguished stars of the Arena di Verona Opera, entitled “Masterpieces of Italian Opera,” on Friday, November 28 at 19:00.
This concert, registered as the 103rd event of the Arena di Verona Foundation for the year 2025, features a classical program combining operatic singing with refined instrumental performance. The event will be led by an elite group of artists: pianist and director Cecilia Gasdia, sopranos Eleonora Bellocci and Marta Torbidoni, the renowned tenor Francesco Meli, and baritone Gëzim Myshketa.
The audience of the Opera of Algiers will enjoy an exceptional artistic evening featuring some of the most distinguished figures in opera and classical music.
Taking advantage of the Italian delegation’s visit, the Opera of Algiers has also scheduled a vocal masterclass in operatic singing for the choir members and selected singers of the Symphony Orchestra, to be conducted on November 27 under the supervision of the Italian opera stars.
This prestigious cultural event, held in partnership with one of Europe’s most renowned classical music institutions, offers an opportunity for artistic exchange, introducing the public to the refined traditions of opera and its various schools, while enhancing the musical and vocal training of the choir members.
