Africa at the Heart of the Opera

As part of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) and the cultural event CANEX, the Algiers Opera House “Boualem Bessaïh” will host a remarkable concert featuring the Symphony Orchestra and Opera Choir, in tribute to Algeria’s African guests participating in this major event, running from September 4 to 10, 2025.

The concert will take the audience on an exquisite artistic journey, blending masterpieces of Algerian and international music, under the baton of Maestro Lotfi Saïdi, with the participation of soprano Cyrine Dyna Khiari and tenor Bilal Sahraoui, and the choir conducted by Maestro Zohir Mezari.

Through this exceptional artistic gathering, the Algiers Opera House “Boualem Bessaïh” renews its strong commitment to promoting refined Algerian musical culture and to maintaining its active presence at major national and international events.
